Cake pops!

A few years ago, I came across a blog by a lady named Angie. She goes by "Bakerella" on her blog (http://www.bakerella.com/) and she's famous for making adorable delicious treats called cake pops. She just had a book come out about how to make them too. I thought the idea was cute so for Easter 2009, I had some friends gather to make the fun creations. Here are the results from back then:

The pink ones are supposed to be bunnies but look more like pigs!

I was asked to help coordinate a wedding reception at church this weekend and bring a dessert. I racked my brain for fun dessert ideas and cake pops came to mind! Here's my creation for Sara and Daron's reception today:

The great thing about cake pops is that they're actually quite delicious! They're also easy to make but the assembling of them can be a bit time-consuming. If you go to Bakerella's website, you can find instructions for basic cake pops then be as simple or extravagant as you please!

Congratulations Sara and Daron!
